Valor Fighting and Management is a California Corporation formed in November 2003.  The Company is
founded on the principal of offering a more mainstream approach to the growing world of "Reality" or
"No Holds Barred" fighting,  while maintaining and even increasing the "edge" that is making NHB 
Fighting one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide.

Valor is comprised of a group of experienced, successful and forward-looking individuals from the various
Entertainment, Sporting and Business communities.

Rick Bassman

As founder and President of Valor Fighting & Management, Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW), and Rick Bassman Enterprises (RBE), Rick has a wealth of experience in every arena associated with Valor.

Career credits include the production of numerous pay-per-view events, tenure as a Marketing Executive with the Walt Disney Company and capturing a 1991 Florida Emmy Award for writing and producing.

Graduated from University of Southern California with a bachelors degree in Communications, where he also played football.

Also involved with UPW, as a commentator, creative & contributing writer for www.upw.com. 

Anthony Rosas
 

Graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a bachelors degree in Mass Media Communications.

Also involved with UPW, as a  referee & contributing writer for www.upw.com. 

Melinda Ackerman

Handles day to day operations for Valor Fighting and Management including Live Event Management and Managing Clients.

Extensive experience in live event promotion and production.
Twice awarded by the Society for Technical Communication.

Webmaster for www.upw.com.

Steve will focus on developing new opportunities for RBE and its properties, with an emphasis of establishing international deals and distribution in the Filmed Entertainment, Merchandising and Licensing, Talent Management and Live Event Divisions.  Steve will liaise on a day-to-day basis with all RBE Directors and staff to insure that business development goals are being met and to insure international opportunities are being maximized in all areas.
