This month, Valor Fighting proved that they are not just a promotion that puts on great live event spectacles like no other, but they also are one of the top management teams in the business.  Valor's client list is comprised of some of the most colorful and legendary names in the MMA community.  This past month, Valor Fighting & Management and Rick Bassman signed 5 of the biggest names in the sport to 5 huge fights that will have fans clamoring for more!

Coming up August 12, K-1 Fans will have a Nightmare, in Sean O'Haire.  O'Haire at 6'6" and 265 pounds is not only one of the biggest and baddest this sport has to offer, but he is one of the most charismatic fighters around.  O'Haire, a former WWE Tag Team Champion will be battling another former WWE Superstar from the Tough Enough Challenge Justice Smith.  Smith is not going to be a pushover for O'Haire, as fans will see 2 giants square off in this battle.  O'Haire, who knocked out Shungo Oyama at Rumble on the Rock 6, can stand and trade punches with anyone, and with Smith in there with him, the fans will be in for a night of hard hitting action August 12 at the Battle at the Bellagio V in Las Vegas!

PRIDE Fighting has seen some impressive knockouts over the years, but the Knockout King is coming to town August 26 in Eric "Butterbean" Esch.  Butterbean, the King of the Four Rounders, has been unstoppable since entering the world of MMA.  Butterbean's opponent will be the formidable Ikuhisa Minowa, better known as "The Punk".  Minowa has been through some battles against some of the top names in the industry today including wins over Phil Baroni, Kimo and Paulo Cesar Silva.  Minowa has also had some tremendous fights with the likes of Quinton Jackson, Ryan Gracie, Sakuraba and Wanderlei Silva over the years proving he is not scared of getting into the ring with anyone.  He will need that mentality as Butterbean has amassed a 6-1-1 MMA record, with 5 submissions!  This one will certainly be worth the price of admission at Bushido 12.

The legendary Kimo returns at Cage Rage against England's own Dave Legeno.  Kimo is looking show Legeno that he will not make his name against one of the icons in the MMA world.  Legeno, who is new to Mixed Martial Arts, might be recognized from his part in the movie Snatch with Brad Pitt.  However, movie star looks will not help him in what promises to be a slugfest on September 30. This one could be a show stealer at Cage Rage September 30!

Strike Force has given the fans some great action in their short existence, and October 7 in Fresno, CA will be no different as Tank abbot headlines against UFC Heavyweight contender Paul Buentello.  Abbott, one of the most popular and recognizable names in Mixed Martial Arts has a very tough challenge in Buentello, but he is looking forward to proving the doubters wrong....again!  Abbott who brutally knocked out Wesley "Cabbage" Correria at Rumble on the Rock 7, will have to be at the top of his game against Buentello.  Buentello, who, with a 20-8 record, is looking to topple a legend in the fight game.  "The Headhunter" as he is affectionately known as, came up short against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski, rebounded, as the great ones do against Gilbert Aldana and with Tank Abbott in his path, one thing is for certain, Strike Force fans are going to witness a brutal heavyweight fight.  Both men have a lot to prove, and will put on a show for the fans in Fresno.

Not lost in all of this was "The Warpath" stepping up to fight "El Guapo" Bas Rutten.  When Bas Rutten was short an opponent for WFA King of the Streets, Valor Fighting stepped in and signed one of Valor's newest and most promising fighters in Ruben Villarreal.  Villarreal came up short against Rutten, however, taking the fight on one days notice against one of the best fighters in the world is no small task.  Villarreal came out of the fight a better man and fans in attendance September 15 at Cache Creek Casino will witness this first hand as "The Warpath" debuts for Valor Fighting on Showdown II.  Not to be left out, Bas Rutten will be at Valor Fighting's OC Dojo and will hold a MMA Seminar September 2 for those who wish to learn from "El Guapo" himself!

Stay tuned as Valor Fighting will bring more of the top names to you in world class fights like these around the world in the near future!
